At Ouston Primary School we are very lucky that every staff member helps to run at least one extra-curricular club.
Parents/Carers will be sent letters with further details about these clubs.
- Choir Club – Tuesdays in November/December.
- Cross Country Club – in January with after school club and 3 competition Saturdays.
- Irish Dancing Club – Wednesdays throughout the year for Reception to Yr6.
- Fit & Fun – Wednesdays -each year group will be offered a half term block.
- Art Club – Wednesdays – so far this year Yr1, Yr2 and Yr4.
- Football – Tuesday and Thursday during the football season for Yr4, Yr5 & Yr6.
- Vex Go – for year 5 & 6 during the Spring and Summer Term.
- Football Coaching – usually Thursdays – each year group will be offered a half term block.
- Netball – Thursdays during the netball season.
All clubs are usually 3.30 – 4.30 although football matches/competitions can be up to 5pm.
Kidz Club
We have our own before and after school child-care provision, Kidz Club. This opens at 7.45am and closes at 5.30pm during term time. Our school staff manage this provision and the club takes place in our hall and makes use of the school kitchen. Our yards are also used for outdoor play in warm weather.
A light breakfast and tea is served each day and children enjoy a range of activities. See our leaflet below and weekly menu.
